Description:

The main package of the Pro series including message handling and basic services in the component and the core plugins and modules. AutoTweet NG consists of a (main) component and several plugins. This package includes also the AutoTweet NG Automator plugin (Automatic post attempts for pending twitter messages), the AutoTweet NG Content-Extension (posting Joomla core content articles) and two modules for the administration panel.

AutoTweet NG Pro for Joomla 1.6/1.7/2.5 is a real Joomla 1.6/1.7 application. It is based on our popular version for Joomla 1.5 and uses the new Joomla 1.6/1.7 MVC and forms capabilities.

The Pro version is available on a subscription base. The version for Joomla 1.6/1.7/2.5 is included in the normal subscription - no extra fees. Additional information about the subscription and how you can get the Pro version you will find here.

Notes on AutoTweet NG Pro 5.0:

• The file is a package installer: The Component, Automator-Plugin, Content-Plugin and modules are installed automatically in one step! The plugins are also activated automatically.
• The AutoTweet component versions for Joomla 1.5 and 1.6/1.7/2.5 are two different packages. You can't use the same files under 1.5 and 1.6/1.7/2.5. For Joomla 1.5 please use AutoTweet NG Pro 4.x. For Joomla 1.6/1.7/2.5 use version 5.x or higher.

Changes/Differences in Joomla 1.6/1.7/2.5 release:

• Full Joomla 1.6 and 1.7 support. This is a real Joomla 1.6/1.7 application. It uses the new Joomla 1.6 MVC and forms capabilities.
• New Layout for Preferences window and backend views.
• Language support in backend: All texts/strings are extracted to language files. English, german and spanish are available and included in the package (Please contact me if you will do a translation for other languages).

Installation/Upgrade instructions:

• To install use the standard Joomla 1.6/1.7/2.5 installer.
• Please check the paramters in the AutoTweet backend parameter window after installation (and - of course - the plugin and module params).

Change log:

• Version 5.7.5: fixing problem with URL routing when Joomla is not installed in the root; optimizing usage of authorization url when own Facebook app is used.
• Version 5.7.4: Bugfix: sometimes the default image (or no image) is also used when a real image is available.
• Version 5.7.3: Bugfix for FacebookEvent channel RequireCaptcha error.
• Version 5.7.2: bugfix for Ping.fm support: Undefined index selection; some minor changes for better Joomla 2.5 support.
• Version 5.7.1: bugfix: default image parameter does not work as expected.
• Version 5.7: adding support for PingFM (EXPERIMENTAL); adding new option for language management on multi language sites; some code cleaning with install/uninstall process and message html entity cleaning.
• Version 5.6.1: fixing compatibility issue with url routing and AceSEF (and maybe other SEF extensions).
• Version 5.6: some code cleaning; some optimizations with url routing when Joomla is not installed in the root.
• Version 5.5: some optimizations for URL handling with multi language sites.
• Version 5.4: better integration of 3rd party plugins.
• Version 5.3: some optimizations with URL handling/routing; updating Facebook API library to release 3.1.1.
• Version 5.2: Adding parameter for default image (see component parameters): This image is used when you post to a channel in media mode if there is no image returned by the AutoTweet extension plugin.
• Version 5.1: Updating spanish language files; adding new versions of plugins and modules to package; some optimizations with url handling; fixing some bugs with the Facebook event channel.
• Version 5.0: stable release; bugfix for cron mode errors; some corrections in language files; adding some missing language strings; adding update for Content-Extension plugin with bugfix for Fatal error: Call to a member function getPath() on a non-object; some corrections in language files.
• Version 5.0RC2: bugfix for Facebook OAuthException: (#100) img objects must have valid src and href attributes; some minor fixes; adding new plugin versions to the package.
• Version 5.0RC: Release Candidate! Fixing some bugs, adding german and spanish translation. Adding AutoTweet modules to package.
• Version 5.0beta2: adding support for Joomla 1.7
• Version 5.0beta: package installer; many bugfixes; layout improvements; german translation
• Version 5.0alpha2: many bug fixes
• Version 5.0alpha: first releasae with support for Joomla 1.6
