Description:

The main component of the Pro series including message handling and basic services. AutoTweet NG consists of a (main) component and several plugins. This package includes also the AutoTweet NG Automator plugin (Automatic post attempts for pending twitter messages) and the AutoTweet NG Content-Extension (posting Joomla core content articles).

The Pro version is available on a subscription base. Additional information about the subscription and how you can get the Pro version you will find here.

Notes on AutoTweet NG Pro 4.x:

• AutoTweet NG Pro 4.0 is a technical MAJOR RELEASE to upgrade AutoTweet to the new Facebook Graph API and OAuth 2.0 for better security and stabilty.
• If you uppgrade from a version < 4.0, you must reauthorize all channels in AutoTweet with the AutoTweet standard app or your own app (see also the revised documentation).
• If you use your own app, you must also change the key information for the app in AutoTweet channels and you must change some configuration parameters for you app on Facebook (see this FAQ for more information about your own app handling).

Installation/Upgrade instructions:

• To upgrade/install use the standard Joomla installer. If you have installed old module/plugin versions these are updated automatically.
• Please check (and maybe correct) the paramters in the AutoTweet backend parameter window after installation.

• Version 4.9.8: fixing problem with URL routing when Joomla is not installed in the root; optimizing usage of authorization url when own Facebook app is used.

• Version 4.7: Adding parameter for default image (see component parameters): This image is used when you post to a channel in media mode if there is no image returned by the AutoTweet extension plugin.
• Version 4.6: fixing some bugs with the Facebook event channel.
• Version 4.5: bugfix for Facebook OAuthException: (#100) img objects must have valid src and href attributes.
• Version 4.4: bugfix for Twitter channel: Fixing wrong usage of app key in own app authorization. Twitter own app feature is now workign again.
• Version 4.2: bugfix: wrong rule handling when channel is deleted; some minor optimizations.
• Version 4.1: Facebook authorization: adding new AutoTweet app data to replace old (disabled) app.
• Version 4.0 (technical major release): Changing implementation to new Facebook Graph API and OAuth; adding support for event walls; adding https support for Facebook; adding new channel with event creation feature for Facebook (EventList, SimpleCalendar, Manual Message); new catch all rule to catch also articles when another rule is allready fitting; bugfix for problems with utf-8 characters when using mail channel.
• Version 3.5: Adding new channel to post message as E-Mail to a group or mailing list; bugfix for AutoTweet logging (Message "Logger not initialized..."); bugfix for wrong image URLs when Joomla is not installed in root; Enhancements for rules engine: adding new rule types, adding text replace function by regular expression; Switch channel checks in backend channel list to Ajax for better performance when tab is loaded.
• Version 3.4: adding duplicate post detection feature.
• Version 3.3: Workaround for Facebook API bug with "?ref=NF" url extension and short urls (URLS in attachments are no longer shortened); bugfix for error when saving rule; bugfix for upcomming AutoTweet Community Builder extension; some minor bugfixes.
• Version 3.2: bugfix for JoomFish compatibilty mode problems with sef urls; bugfix for media attachments: images are sometimes not posted; some fixes (e. g. short url is sometimes not used) and changes for cron mode; adding extensions for rules engine; some changes for compatibilty with upcomming new AutoTweet plugins.
• Version 3.1: adding plugin link option (Link parameter is no longer handled in general component options. Now you can set this for each plugin.): Please update also plugins and check plugin options. Also in the rules engine there is now an url override option and you can handle link position for reach rule.
• Version 3.0: stable release; new feature: manual post (enter a message and post it to your channels); new feature: select channel by category or text term (post article from cat/term 1 to twitter, cat/term 2 to facebook, ...); also some minor optimizations and fixes.
• Version 3.0RC2: new feature: manual post (enter a message and post it to your channels); rules engine: adding multiselect option for channels when new rule is created; also some minor optimizations and fixes for rules endgine.
• Version 3.0RC: new feature: select channel by category or text term (post article from cat/term 1 to twitter, cat/term 2 to facebook, ...), see documentation for more information; also some minor optimizations and fixes.
