Description:

This plugin is an improved version of the free AutoTweet NG Content-Extension and posts the title and url for new Joomla articles automatically as status messages. The plugin works with ALL extensions that use the Joomla core article table (jos_content). So it should also work with article generators!

The plugin polls the core article table and works the same way as the Automator-Plugin. So you need traffic on your site etc. to get this work.

The plugin is working with: Joomla core articles, MyBlog, FLEXIcontent, Feed Gator, Article-Generator, pressetext4Joomla, RSS2Content, 4RSS, generally also with all articles added via RSS or XML-RPC, ...

The plugin works now hand in hand with Feed Gator feed aggregator/article generator v 2.3+. See here for more information about the AutoTweet Feed Gator integration.

Users has reported that it works also with JReviews.

I can not test the plugin with all this extensions! Please report back to me via the forum with what extensions it is working for you or not.

Requires AutoTweet NG Pro Component 4.9.1+ to work!

Installation/Upgrade instructions:

• Since version 1.5 the Content Pro Extension has optimized embedded support for MyBlog and FLEXIcontent. The original MyBlog-Plugin is now obsolete. Please uninstall/remove the AutoTweet MyBlog plugin before installing this plugin.
• Download the plugin and install/upgrade it with the Joomla installer.
• Check the plugin parameters.

• Version 1.9: bugfix for strange issue on some systems: Fatal error: Call to a member function load() on a non-object.
• Version 1.8: some optimizations for URL handling with multi language sites.
• Version 1.7: bugfix: on some systems messages are staying in the queue and are not posted.
• Version 1.6: adding some things for rule engine enhancements in upcomming new version of AutoTweet NG Pro component 3.5; some code cleaning.
• Version 1.5: Optimized URL support for MyBlog and FLEXIcontent. The original MyBlog plugin is now obsolete.
• Version 1.4: adding link option (Link parameter is no longer handled in general component options. Now you can set this for each plugin.): Needs AutoTweet NG component Free 3.13+ or Pro 3.1+.
• Version 1.3: some changes for better compatibility with some article generators/feed importers.
• Version 1.2: adding support to post image with message on Facebook (takes the first image from the article); posts for modified articles are now also done when "Post modified" is off but they are published first time.
• Version 1.1: major bugfix: on systems with PHP lower than version 5.2 the plugin has not worked! (Error with DateTime)
• Version 1.0: stable version; some improvements for new features in upcomming AutoTweet NG Pro Component V2.2...
• Version 1.0RC2: bugfix: sometimes articles are inserted into the queue many times...
• Version 1.0RC: release candidate; bugfix: sometimes new/edited articles are not posted (not inserted in the queue); fixing compatibillity issue with JomSocial extension.
• Version 1.0beta2: workaround for problem with wrong MyBlog modified date (They are writing the local time to the database - LOL)
• Version 1.0beta: first public version
