Description:

This plugin for Community Builder 1.2 shows the users twitter tweets (usertimeline) in a Community Builder profile tab.

Features:

• Uses the twitter REST api.
• Customizable: show user data from twitter (image, name, follow link, tweet dates), parse links, background layout
• Styles are separated in style sheet (css file) for better layout customizing.
• Caching: The PlugIn uses Joomla caching technology to save the tweets. So you should have no performance problems and no problems with twitter api rate limiting. You can set the cache on/off and you can set an expire time for the cache.

Requirements:

• PHP 5
• PHP cURL support
• Joomla 1.5.x
• Community Builder 1.2

Notes:

• TwitterTab displays the usertimeline of the user. If the user has protected his account/timeline the timeline is NOT displayed in the tab. (Off course a info message about that is shown.)

• Version 1.4.0: minor bugfixe: fixes the warning 'sprintf() [function.sprintf]: Too few arguments in .../plug_twittertab/twitter.tab.php on line 148'.
• Version 1.3.0: Bugfixe: When Joomla SEF support is not activated, the link Activate your twitter account is broken. Also i have fixed some problems with sh404sef.
• Version 1.2.0: minor bugfixes
