How does AutoTweet message sending work?

- When an new article, forum post etc. is saved (or when one is modified), AutoTweet checks the plugin parameters and marks the article for sending in the AutoTweet message queue.
- Later, the Automator-Plugin checks the message queue and sends articles to all active channels (Facebook, Twitter). The plugin checks also the publish date, so articles with present publish date are posted at the correct time.
- The Automator-Plugin works when someone's browsing one of your sites. So you need some traffic on the site to send articles to Twitter/Facebook. E. g. when you save an article at midnight and the first person browses your site at 8 am the Twitter/Facebook account will be updated at 8 am. You can use a service that will open your site even every X minutes automatically (This is some kind of ping service). There are many services for this on the web (also some are cost free).
