Please read this before you post

I'm Ulli, the developer of 1stMover extensions. Most 1stMover extensions are free of charges or fees and this is the forum site where you can get free support for these extensions. The word "free" is important and it means too, that I'm doing these free things in my free time and sometime I'm not able to answer all the questions posted here. I would like to ask for your patience.

If you want to help me (writing manuals, answering the posts here) then this will be very appreciated.

Before posting new post, please read the documentation and the previous forum posts as answering the same questions takes a lot of time which is missing for developing and for answering not yet answered posts.

AutoTweet NG Free 2.5 and Pro 1.1 released 5 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 12
Today I have released the stable version of AutoTweet NG Pro 1.1 (Also a service release for the free version is released).

New features in AutoTweet NG Pro 1.1 (since version 1.0):

  • New installation and upgrade procedure: It is no longer necessary to uninstall old versions of the component or plugins. You can just use the Joomla! installer to upgrade. Also the Automator-Plugin and Content-Extension are now part of the main component package and installed/upgraded automatically meanwhile component installation (see documentation for more information).

  • Facebook groups: I have added support for Facebook groups.

  • No more "rate limiting" with Facebook (error message "341 Feed action request limit reached"): To get this work you must grant the permission "offline_access' (see documentaion).

  • You can now post to Facebook pages as the page itself with the page account (and not as the user with the personal account): To use this new feature you must change "Enable Facebook" in the component preferences to "Facebook page - post as page itself". Also you must grant the permissions for the App also for the page (see documentaion).

  • Now there is also support for SEF URLs when the article etc. is saved from backend.

There is an incompatibility between the new component versions (free and pro) and some plugins:

Make sure that you have installed the newest version of the following plugins, before you upgrade the component:
- AutoTweet NG Eventlist-Extension
- AutoTweet NG Vituemart-Extension
- AutoTweet NG QuickFAQ-Extension
- AutoTweet NG Sobi2-Extension

I have overseen this. - Sorry!
