I'm Ulli, the developer of 1stMover extensions. Most 1stMover extensions are free of charges or fees and this is the forum site where you can get free support for these extensions. The word "free" is important and it means too, that I'm doing these free things in my free time and sometime I'm not able to answer all the questions posted here. I would like to ask for your patience.

If you want to help me (writing manuals, answering the posts here) then this will be very appreciated.

Before posting new post, please read the documentation and the previous forum posts as answering the same questions takes a lot of time which is missing for developing and for answering not yet answered posts.

Thank you very much for your understanding, Ulli

Is there a way to schedule the posts? 6 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 1
The problem is that i post stuff with publishing of them on the site on the next day.
So when i add an article to joomla the tweet is made but the link is not available untill the next day when it gets published.

What plugins do you use?

Normally this is handled correctly by AutoTweet:
- When you set an article not to 'publish' the post is not send to twitter/facebook. Later when you publish the post it is automatically send.
- When you set present/future publish date for an article the post is marked as "pending" in the AutoTweet backend and you can send them later manually. Or you install the Automator-Plugin what checks automatically for pending messages and posts them when the publish date is reached.

Or do I missunderstanding something?

The Pro version can post also to Facebook. The Pro version is available on a subscription base for EUR 9,99.

  • Information about the features and handling of the Pro version you will find in the latest version of the documentation.

  • Information about the subscription model is available here.

I wil think about that.
Anyway.
I think there is a problem.
My site just got jammed last night.
My guessing is that its because of the pending tweets.
The reason i say this its because it stopped responding (i got timeout) just when the articles should of got posted.
I restarted the server and looked at the component, and saw it say they all got posted, but when i looked at twitter, nothing was there.
Ps: a had hash tags enabled.

I dont think so. - Of course I can never be 100% sure. There are no reports form other users about this.

The Automator does no loops or something like this. It does one db lookup to check if there are pending posts and does one try to post them. If this post attempt fails, the messages are changed to state error and no additional attempts are done.

- How many traffic has you site, especially how many calls (PI) has the startsite (home) at the time the server has jammend?
- How much pending posts are waiting for posting at this time?

Can you reproduce this problem?
