I'm Ulli, the developer of 1stMover extensions. Most 1stMover extensions are free of charges or fees and this is the forum site where you can get free support for these extensions. The word "free" is important and it means too, that I'm doing these free things in my free time and sometime I'm not able to answer all the questions posted here. I would like to ask for your patience.

If you want to help me (writing manuals, answering the posts here) then this will be very appreciated.

Before posting new post, please read the documentation and the previous forum posts as answering the same questions takes a lot of time which is missing for developing and for answering not yet answered posts.

Thank you very much for your understanding, Ulli

AutoTweet using ArticleManager 1 Year, 11 Months ago
Good afternoon,

First off, great work with all your extensions.

I am having a small issue with AutoTweet at this time.

We use Article Manager (not the joomla core article manager, but a 3rd party extension) to manage articles submitted by authors. Now, each article is approved via article manager (3rd party), which I believe just changes the status of articles to publish in the db via php.

I think this skips the auto tweet function since its done via php.

Now, if I un-publish the approved article in admin and re-publish it in the joomla article manager (core), the component works great. I see the post and there is no issue.

Is there a trick to getting auto tweet to work with 3rd party software? I havent used K2 before, but they might be in the same situation...maybe

Any help would be appreciated. We get close to 500+ articles daily, so I would like to avoid the manual process of publishing and un-publishing articles for the auto tweet.

Looking forward to your response. Thank you.

Hi,

normally there is needed extra work for each extension AutoTweet supports. (I have to implement a plugin etc.).

Yes!

The only trick is what you have done: select the articles and republish them

Can you send me a link to website of this extension?
