I'm Ulli, the developer of 1stMover extensions. Most 1stMover extensions are free of charges or fees and this is the forum site where you can get free support for these extensions. The word "free" is important and it means too, that I'm doing these free things in my free time and sometime I'm not able to answer all the questions posted here. I would like to ask for your patience.

If you want to help me (writing manuals, answering the posts here) then this will be very appreciated.

Before posting new post, please read the documentation and the previous forum posts as answering the same questions takes a lot of time which is missing for developing and for answering not yet answered posts.

Thank you very much for your understanding, Ulli

[SOLVED] Site down while upgrading AutoTweet 5 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0
I have been using AutoTweet with no problems until I was upgrading to the newer version of the component and plugin today.

I was using v2.3 of the component and was going to upgrade to 2.5 but first was installing the newest versions of the plug-ins as instructed. After installing the latest Eventlist plug-in I was receiving the message that it was not installed or enabled (it was both, but I figured I was getting the message because the latest version of the component still had not been installed). Upon installing the latest versions of Sobi and one of the other required plugins, I received the same message for all 3 of those plug-ins, even though they were all installed and enabled. Anyways...

I did not see the VirtueMart plug-in, even though it says to have the latest version installed (I did not have any version installed) but I was going to install the latest version of the component anyway. Upon UN-installing the component(so that the new one could be installed), I immediately got a blank screen with the following message:

Fatal error: Class 'AutotweetPostHelper' not found in /hermes/bosweb/web234/b2347/sl.mplsdanc/public_html/mplsdancehall/plugins/system/autotweetautomator.php on line 79

I can no longer access my website or the admin control panel. I saw a similar problem in the Forum, and you recommended to un-zip and copy some files to one of the folders in the server, but as I said, I do not even see the VIRTUEMART plug-in for the free AutoTweet, and I cannot access the Pro version of the Virtuemart plug-in (not a member, etc).

My PHP Version = 5.2.12

Please Help!! And I am sorry if this was solved in a different thread that I did not see, but I looked for my problem

Hi,

I suggest that something goes wrong meanwhile installation/upgrade of the component or plugins.

So we should upgrade the files manually: Please check first if the folder "/administrator/components/com_autotweet" does exist. If so do the following: unzip the AutoTweet Component files manually and copy the files of the folder admin to the server folder "/administrator/components/com_autotweet". Next unzip all used plugins and copy the files "/plugins/system" ofer the ild files.

If this does not help you can do the following to get your site work again: rename the autotweet files.

-> Go to "/administrator/components" and rename the folder "com_autotweet" to "X_com_autotweet".

-> Go to "plugins/system/" and rename all autotweet files to "X_autotweet..."

Now your site should work again.

When your site is working again we must clean your system and reinstall AutoTweet. If you will, you can send my a temporary admin login and I can assist you.

I sent you a private message with a log-in and password you can use.

I manually created a folder called "com_autotweet" (location: /public_html/mplsdancehall/components/com_autotweet) using the File Manager.

Using File Manager and FTP, I added the unZIPped files/folders to the folder, but this does not seem to make the website working again.

If you need to contact me off of the Forum, my email address is mplsdancehall@yahoo.com

Thanks!!

Thank you, Ulli!! How many beers do I owe you now? I lost track

I think everything is working again now, after we deleted all autotweet files in /plugins/system, and then you re-installed everything again!!

You were very helpful, and again, I LOVE AUTOTWEET!!!
