Please read this before you post

I'm Ulli, the developer of 1stMover extensions. Most 1stMover extensions are free of charges or fees and this is the forum site where you can get free support for these extensions. The word "free" is important and it means too, that I'm doing these free things in my free time and sometime I'm not able to answer all the questions posted here. I would like to ask for your patience.

If you want to help me (writing manuals, answering the posts here) then this will be very appreciated.

Before posting new post, please read the documentation and the previous forum posts as answering the same questions takes a lot of time which is missing for developing and for answering not yet answered posts.

I have just bought the pro version and am getting this error when trying to update a Facebook page.

The problem seems to be with autotweet since I copy/pasted the content from my twitter feed and facebook accepts it manually without problems.

All permissions are set and on the "Services" tab both facebook and twitter give an "OK" state.

And now it doesn't work manually...something is up with Facebook

Okay, that was exciting.

Its now fixed, the problem was that facebook doesn't like is.gd, you have to use bit.ly in order to update your facebook status.

I'm guessing because you don't need an account for is.gd, you can post anything without consequences but bit.ly forces you to have to have an account and therefore a modicum of responsibility.

I have tested this on my testserver and your right: is.gd is "blocked" by Facebook. - And this without any announcement.

Workaround is to use bit.ly.

After my holiday I will have a look on this (and I have to ask Facebook if they are creazy. I think they should publish a list with blocked URLs or services...)

I have created an FAQ entry for this.

Now it works on my testserver for 3 weeks with is.gd and Facebook. So I suggest Facebook is solved this.
