First off, I was getting errors when I tried to publish an article in Joomla. So I uninstalled then tried to reinstall. I am getting this message when I tried to install auto tweet plugin and component in the front and backend of Joomla. Can anyone please help me?

This means that some files are missing. So something has gone wrong within installation/reinstallation.

1. Unsinstall all AutoTweet plugins and the component.
(If you have error messages uninstalling AutoTweet post this messages here and do NOT proceed with step 2.)


2. Check if all files are delete on your server, if not delete them manually:
- Go to "/plugins/system" and delete all files with "autotweet" in the name.
- Go to "/components/" and delete the folder "com_autotweet".
- Go to "/administrator/components/" and delete the folder "com_autotweet".

3. Do a new installation.

First off I think that I need to tell you what I done to get my site back up and maybe this may be why I am receiving these errors when trying to uninstalling today, not sure. But I went into PLUGINS/SYSTEM and moved these files to another folder just to see if I could get rid of those errors and it worked, my site is back up.

Now I tried to uninstall the component for Auto Tweet and I received these errors:
JFolder::files: Path does not point to a valid folder or the folder has been deleted.
JInstaller::install: ERRORXMLSETUP
JFolder::delete: Path does not point to a valid folder or the folder has been deleted.
JFolder::delete: Path does not point to a valid folder or the folder has been deleted.
If this Extension has created tables or installed additional files, they must be removed manually.

The I tried to uninstall AutoTweet NG Automator-Plugin
And I get this error:
Plugin Uninstall: Manifest File invalid or not found

Ok, what you should do is to download the version 2.5 of the free component. Install this with the Joomla installer over the old version. This should make an upgrade and after this the installation should be consistent again.

I do not know why your system was corrupted after the latest installation. You should make a backup before you do the next try AND you should activate debugging before installing AutoTweet again.

Unfortunately it won't let me install, I get this error:
Component Install: Custom install routine failure
Install Component Error
CURL extension is not installed or not loaded. - Installation aborted

Do I need to unzip something or do I need to reinstall the other two plugins you think?
Plus I checked what all you said should be deleted out and they are in the directories folders but the funny thing is that the names of the plugins and the component in the uninstall list.

So here we have the problem (For the install/uninstall problem and for the corruption of your site).

You need CURL to get this work (I do not know how you have installed AutoTweet the first time without this error message...).
