Hello,
I've just installed & configured AutoTweet NG Pro (latest version, ) & have set it up for manual submissions, including modified / updated articles.... however despite modifying / updating a few articles nothing is happening & none are being listed in the component back-end either.

The Twitter authorization is done & approved, all the plugins are set to manual submission & set to include modified articles.

Any ideas?

this has nothing to do with the manual submission mode. The problem must be before that.

Please let me know if it works for new artciles or not and post a screenshot of the plugin paramters window.

I've tested it with new articles & it works, and I've also realized that I was testing it with MyBlog (modified) articles & not standard Joomla content..... so my problem is only with MyBlog.

In a nutshell, the component seems to be working perfectly with Joomla content articles (I haven't sent the articles to Twitter or FB yet but I'm sure it will work) EXCEPT for modified MyBlog articles (...new MyBlog articles are being stored in AutoTweet NG Pro messages list, ready to send).

I have included a screenshot of the MyBlog plugin parameters..

By the way, as the main Joomla content is working I am not in any mad rush for a fix, so no problem, take your time (and if you needed to look at it on site just email me & I can set up an account for you, but as I said, there's no hurry ) - Regards, KB

1. The MyBlog plugin is a little bit tricky (because the MyBlog implementation is very special). So it may be that in some cases the updates for modified articles does not working. In my tests it has worked for modified articles. You should test with some different optiones (editing frontend or from backend, old/new editor...).

2. When the next major version of AutoTweet Component (2.0) is released end of may, I will start working on the next major version of the Content-Plugin. This version will handle ALL articles stored in the core content table. So this will works also for MyBlog and the actual MyBlog plugin is obsolete.

I hope it is OK for tyou o wait for this version?

No problems Ulli, I can wait plus I will do some testing when I get some time (ie: perhaps it'll work from the front-end - I do all my work from the back-end normally).
Also I wanted to ask: I'm using a URL shortener (bit.ly) & when I view the articles via the backend that I have ready to post to twitter the urls are not listed in shortened form..... are they supposed to be? (....I haven't tried posting them to Twitter yet, so apologies for my ignorance). - Thanks, Karen

Yes, they are shorted when posted (If you have enabled shorting in preferences and enter your bit.ly account data).

In the list in backend the original ULRs are. (This is better to find the article...).
