I've finally spent about all the time I can trying to get this software installed where an article will publish to both a facebook page and the twitter account! So I took the time to detail all of my findings in hope that someone can send me a version or fix that works with both a page and twitter

PHP Version: 5.3.2
CommunityBuilder: 1.2.2 (removed autotweet module to get basic features working first in Joomla)
Kunena: 1.5.9 (removed autotweet module)
VirtueMart: 1.1.4 (removed autotweet module)

sh404SEF: 1.5.6.398
AutoTweet Versions: 1.7 (the past two versions with same results)
Plugin sections are activated ie: Successfully saved Plugin: AutoTweet NG Content-Extension

The FREE AutoTweet works fine as advertised!

However when I attempt to install the pro version, It only seems to work when publishing to facebook groups ie:
www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=334715567224

the facebook page I'm trying to get it to publish to includes:
www.facebook.com/KentMay4Center
In manual mode it gives success, but nothing! In auto mode: Successfully saved and nothing


Using Pro version with token and secret for Twitter only:
AutoTweet - error when sending message to Twitter, article id = 73, return code = 401 Not Authorized

I also noticed that there is no place to put a Twitter username or password with the Pro version, but rather only the token and secret! The FREE version offers username and password fields.


Now if I change the facebook ID to that of a group, it works fine, excepting Twitter still!

I've implemented the bug fix for PHP 5.3
TOPIC: PHP 5.3 related bug (parse error) (and solution), removed the software and reinstalled, but still no success. I also attempted this with PHP 5.2 and upgraded to PHP 5.3 thinking that might solve the problem.


I also removed all the additional modules ie: virtuemart Kuneua, CB... and still no luck.

My only goal for now is to get updates to both a facebook page and twitter preferable with CB, Kunena, Virtuemart, as well as the default Joomla 1.5.

It looks like something with the authorization for twitter is wrong. IMO the installation of the product is correct. So it will not help to remove and reinstall. Also I do not think that the PHP version is the problem.

If you will, you can send me a PMS with a temporary admin account (with superadmin rights) to your backend. If so, I will check the installation and configuration for you.

Yes, but Twitter has depricated this. (Also it is better when passwords are not stored in the database...) I have changed this first for the Pro version, free version will follow later.

I also just noticed that my website was only showing the login. so after I uninstalled the pro version, and reinstalled the free, the web site started working again.

I created user ustorck but am really nervous about sending a password here. do you have an email I can send it to?
