Please read this before you post

I'm Ulli, the developer of 1stMover extensions. Most 1stMover extensions are free of charges or fees and this is the forum site where you can get free support for these extensions. The word "free" is important and it means too, that I'm doing these free things in my free time and sometime I'm not able to answer all the questions posted here. I would like to ask for your patience.

If you want to help me (writing manuals, answering the posts here) then this will be very appreciated.

Before posting new post, please read the documentation and the previous forum posts as answering the same questions takes a lot of time which is missing for developing and for answering not yet answered posts.

I suggest that the uninstallation has failed and is done partially only (Files are deleted but component is allready in the Joomla component table):

1. You need access to your database (e.g. by joomMyAdmin).

2. Go to the table "jos_components" and delete all entry for com_sh404sef (see row "option").

3. Go to the table "jos_plugins" and delete all entry for sh404sef (see row "element").

Check also if all files are deleted and if not delete it: "/administrator/componenets/com_sh404sef" , "/componenets/com_sh404sef" and sh404sef plugins in "/plugins/system".

I've done ALL that was outlined here. Results?
No errant tables in database to delete.
No leftover files or directory's in either component section.

Wait! Wait!
I think it might just have been THAT page!
I wrote an entry into the blog and it posted!!!!

Which I guess leads into the question...

How do you post an article that is ALREADY on your site?

I've tried making a small change and saving but it does not re-submitt.

Another question is: Why is there a menu entry for sh404sef, when there is no entry in the component table. (This is not good. Something is wrong there on your system. You should clear this!).

You must set the plugin option "post modified" to yes in the plugin options (for normal articles this is the Content-Extension plugin).

Is this a normal Joomla article or do you use a blog extension?
