I'm Ulli, the developer of 1stMover extensions. Most 1stMover extensions are free of charges or fees and this is the forum site where you can get free support for these extensions. The word "free" is important and it means too, that I'm doing these free things in my free time and sometime I'm not able to answer all the questions posted here. I would like to ask for your patience.

If you want to help me (writing manuals, answering the posts here) then this will be very appreciated.

Before posting new post, please read the documentation and the previous forum posts as answering the same questions takes a lot of time which is missing for developing and for answering not yet answered posts.

cant solve the 404 twiter problem 1 Year, 8 Months ago Karma: -1
hi there

will i first used the xomponent about a month ago and it was working perfectly

then my site got wiped out
so i rebuilt the whole sit from scratch and finally installed the autotweet component

its working with facebook just fine
but sadly i cant get it to work on tweeter

i copied the Twitter access token and Twitter access token secret after generating them again
inserted them but still get 404 not authorized

tryed the fixes here www.1st-movers.com/faq/3-autotweet/13-an...-returned-by-twitter
still cant get it to work

any idea on a possible other cause ?

Check your token data again.

Do you have checked your server time?

If this does not help you can send me a PMS with an admin account to your backend and your twitter account data. - So I will do a "crosscheck" for you (4 eyes sees more than 2).

BTW: You are sure that you have a 404 error?

Not Authorized normally resolves in an 401 ???

I have checked your twitter account data: Tokens and everything else is correct.

If this has worked before - as you say - something technical on your new site must be different.
