I'm Ulli, the developer of 1stMover extensions. Most 1stMover extensions are free of charges or fees and this is the forum site where you can get free support for these extensions. The word "free" is important and it means too, that I'm doing these free things in my free time and sometime I'm not able to answer all the questions posted here. I would like to ask for your patience.

If you want to help me (writing manuals, answering the posts here) then this will be very appreciated.

Before posting new post, please read the documentation and the previous forum posts as answering the same questions takes a lot of time which is missing for developing and for answering not yet answered posts.

Thank you very much for your understanding, Ulli

Hi
I'm using the AutoTweet Component v3
Automator Plugin v2
Content Extension v4
EventList Extension v2

The server has full CURL support, PHPv5 etc..

My twitter channel is authorised to recieve tweets from the application as I ensured that I had enabled access for AutoTweet using the token etc and is currently showing a status of 200 OK.

The problem is that when I post an article with the aim of a link appearing on the twitter feed it just doesn't appear on the twitter time line. I have done the error de-bug and this is what appeared;

AutoTweet debug mode - message stored to database message queue, article id = 59

So AutoTweet is seeing the message however doesn't seem to be sending it. I'm sure it's something I've done incorrectly - however I thought that automator should automatically send the tweet? I have waited about 10-15 for a message to go through to twitter just to check it wasn't being slow updated. So any ideas would help?

Thanks
Tom

It has now updated however, it has taken an hour to update?

So is there any way for twitter to update quicker?

Thanks

Hi,

when an article is saved, AutoTweet stores the article in the database. Later the article is posted by the Automator-Plugin to Twitter. The Automator-Plugin is triggered when someone loads one of the frontend sites of you Joomla portal.

I suggest that there is not much traffic on your site and so the plugin is not triggered. You can test this: Save an article and go to you frontend index.php. Now the article should be posted to Twitter.

If this is the problem, you can use a "ping service". There are some cost free services for this (use Google to search).
