I'm Ulli, the developer of 1stMover extensions. Most 1stMover extensions are free of charges or fees and this is the forum site where you can get free support for these extensions. The word "free" is important and it means too, that I'm doing these free things in my free time and sometime I'm not able to answer all the questions posted here. I would like to ask for your patience.

If you want to help me (writing manuals, answering the posts here) then this will be very appreciated.

Before posting new post, please read the documentation and the previous forum posts as answering the same questions takes a lot of time which is missing for developing and for answering not yet answered posts.

Thank you very much for your understanding, Ulli

TOPIC: Support for my own URL shortener
#1711
Support for my own URL shortener 1 Year, 11 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi,
I just upgraded to the latest pro version and it works great, but still a few things to learn.

I have set up my own url shortener using YOURLS (yourls.org/) it works quite well. It has its own API (I think it is similar to bit.ly) and I wonder if there is a way I can change the URL shortener without changing the source code.

My URL shortener is at: ftc.li

Thanks,
Tommy

No, you can't and normally each url shortener needs different coding.

I have planed to add more shorteners in the future, but this not one of my prioritys.

Sorry!

Thanks for your reply.

It works great at the moment so keep up the good work.

I handle 4 different twitter accounts and 3 Facebook pages and have experimented a little with the accounts. It would be interesting if it was possible to dedicate one Joomla article section to update one account/page only and an other section to an other account/page. Just a thought I have at the moment.
