I'm Ulli, the developer of 1stMover extensions. Most 1stMover extensions are free of charges or fees and this is the forum site where you can get free support for these extensions. The word "free" is important and it means too, that I'm doing these free things in my free time and sometime I'm not able to answer all the questions posted here. I would like to ask for your patience.

If you want to help me (writing manuals, answering the posts here) then this will be very appreciated.

Before posting new post, please read the documentation and the previous forum posts as answering the same questions takes a lot of time which is missing for developing and for answering not yet answered posts.

Hi Ulli,

I have a bit of an odd setup (maybe), I use feedgator to pull in articles from my other sites RSS, however Autotweet will does not queue the articles for sending to Twitter or Facebook. I have set the Section/Category.

I have a feeling that it may have something to do with the article dates, they take the date from the server time (which is around 10 hours behind the joomla date).

How does autotweet recognise articles that need to be send to twitter/fb, does it use the date/time of the last send and then only looks at articles since? If so, that makes sense why it wouldn't send.

Do you use the normal Content-Extension plugin (installed with the component) or the new AutoTweet NG Pro Content-Extension (beta)?

I just tried creating a new article through the joomla admin back-end and it tweets/fb's fine. So its just with articles created with feedgator that cause problems with AutoTweet.

Feedgator (and other article generators) inserts the article directly to the database. So AutoTweet can't catch the save event and the article is not queued. See my new FAQ entry for more information: www.1st-movers.com/faq/3-autotweet/18-wh...ntent-extension-work

Also I have developed a new plugin for this: AutoTweet NG Pro Content-Extension (This plugin is included in your subscription).
