I'm Ulli, the developer of 1stMover extensions. Most 1stMover extensions are free of charges or fees and this is the forum site where you can get free support for these extensions. The word "free" is important and it means too, that I'm doing these free things in my free time and sometime I'm not able to answer all the questions posted here. I would like to ask for your patience.

If you want to help me (writing manuals, answering the posts here) then this will be very appreciated.

Before posting new post, please read the documentation and the previous forum posts as answering the same questions takes a lot of time which is missing for developing and for answering not yet answered posts.

All is fine with the module until I try to set some "Advanced Parameters".... then, no matter what I play with there I get this type of message...I could get it for as many times as I set an "advanced feature".

Warning: mysql_field_type(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/salvemaria/salvemaria.info/modules/mod_cbrandomuser/helper.php on line 254

Any thoughts other than just stop messing around and recognize that I'm a NOOB?

What version of CBRandomUser do you use?

Waht is your mySQl version?

Please do a test with the attached version of CBRandomUser and let me know if it works or not and if the warning disappers.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

I removed the module version with which I was having the error I mentioned. I successfully installed the 2.zip version that you sent me.

RESULT: changes in "Advanced settings" have no effect at all... not even any sort of error message.

(On the earlier version, any changes in "advanced settings would give me an error for each setting I changed_.

This is my system info from my site:

Hi,

the debug info is looking good. All version info is ok.

I do not know what happens on your system. No other user has reported a problem like this.

I have a last idea. Please install the attached version and test again.
