Please read this before you post

I'm Ulli, the developer of 1stMover extensions. Most 1stMover extensions are free of charges or fees and this is the forum site where you can get free support for these extensions. The word "free" is important and it means too, that I'm doing these free things in my free time and sometime I'm not able to answer all the questions posted here. I would like to ask for your patience.

If you want to help me (writing manuals, answering the posts here) then this will be very appreciated.

Before posting new post, please read the documentation and the previous forum posts as answering the same questions takes a lot of time which is missing for developing and for answering not yet answered posts.

I reinstalled all of the AT software. Using the default URL shortener. The shortened URL is not posting on Facebook -- works fine on Twitter. is this a Facebook limitation or is there a problem with the code?

Hi, here on my system it is working (both is.gd and bit.ly) on Twitter and Facebook. See here: www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/apps/application.php?id=176993589374 What is the error message? Ulli

Not an error message. Just not working. Installed on Stardrive.org. Connected to: www.facebook.com/jack.sarfatti -- full URL rather than shortened URL. This worked previously with an earlier release and to twitter.com/stardriveorg

ok, this is not a problem of the short url. It's a problem of the original url recieved by AutoTweet: www.stardrive.org/index.php?option=com_c...ce&Itemid=82

The problem are the html entities ("&"). When you remove them from the url it is working: www.stardrive.org/index.php?option=com_c...cience&Itemid=82

I have tested on my system with the latest version of the component and the content plugin and I can't reproduce this. So the question is, what changes have you done on your system with url handling (SEF extensions or something else).

Hi Ulli --

I've done absolutely nothing different. The website has not changed in weeks. I am not using SEO. The URL shortener works fine on Twitter. It also worked fine with the previous version of the component and plugins. You can see this on my personal facebook page (facebook.com/sarfatti -- look at the older posts on the wall)

I will try the old version and new version of the software on a different website to see what happens.
