Please read this before you post

I'm Ulli, the developer of 1stMover extensions. Most 1stMover extensions are free of charges or fees and this is the forum site where you can get free support for these extensions. The word "free" is important and it means too, that I'm doing these free things in my free time and sometime I'm not able to answer all the questions posted here. I would like to ask for your patience.

If you want to help me (writing manuals, answering the posts here) then this will be very appreciated.

Before posting new post, please read the documentation and the previous forum posts as answering the same questions takes a lot of time which is missing for developing and for answering not yet answered posts.

Hi there, I am not much into Facebbok, so could you please explain me what are the 3 different modes you have for Facebook? Is there a point in using more than one channel with a different mode for Facebook? Cheers, Tamirzzz

Hi,

on Facebook you have a wall for you profile. On this wall your newsstream is showed.

Also you can have (multiple) pages, groups etc. to represent organizations or something else. - IMO Facebook is a little bit complicated in this things...

With AutoTweet you can:
- post to the users profile wall (Mode "personal profile")
- post to the page/group as the user (Mode "post to page/group as user"): In this case the user is shown as the sender of the post.
- post to the page as the page (Mode "post to page as the page itself"): In this case the Page is the source of the post (The user is not shown as the sender).

Is there a point in using more than one channel with a different mode for Facebook?

Of course you can have multiple channels for the same account and so you can post to the profile and to pages...
