I've installed the NG component and the two associated plugins that come with the package.

When I navigate to "components -> autotweet -> information"

I see the following in the admin console.

So your admin has to enable "URL file-access" for the server.

Also for one of the next AutoTweet NG version I will add an option to disable the check for new version. So people with problems to read my server info file can disable this feature.

I have implemented an option to disable this right now. Will comming out with the next version end of week.

I can't find that parameter in the file specified in the error... am I missing something?

IMO you have to set allow_url_fopen to on in php.ini.

allow_url_fopen=1
