I'm Ulli, the developer of 1stMover extensions. Most 1stMover extensions are free of charges or fees and this is the forum site where you can get free support for these extensions. The word "free" is important and it means too, that I'm doing these free things in my free time and sometime I'm not able to answer all the questions posted here. I would like to ask for your patience.

If you want to help me (writing manuals, answering the posts here) then this will be very appreciated.

Before posting new post, please read the documentation and the previous forum posts as answering the same questions takes a lot of time which is missing for developing and for answering not yet answered posts.

Thank you very much for your understanding, Ulli

No messages in AutoTweet db 2 Years, 1 Month ago Karma: 4
i downloaded and installed latest version of AutoTweet component.
I assume that when I add new article in Article manager it should appear in AutoTweet Messages section? In any case that doesn't happen.
Any advice?

Hi,

I suggest that you have not installed the needed plugin? AutoTweet consists of a main component AND some plugins (one plugin for each supported extension). For core articles you need the AutoTweet Content-Extension plugin (see download area).

There is a documentation where you can find information about this and ither things: www.1st-movers.com/products/autotweet/autotweet-documentation

I tried plg_autotweetngcontent and plg_autotweetngautomator
As far as I understood from documentation if i want to add messages manually from backend to Twitter I need the component ONLY.

You can't add messages manually with AutoTweet. Can you please post the part of the documentation you mean that I can improve the docu?

Of course, this should work, when you have installed the component and the plugin and everything is configured correct.

After reading Installation section you can understand that plugins are optional.

How do I have articles appear like on this screenshot?

All articles who should posted to twitter by AutoTweet are showed in this list (posted artciles, articles with error state, ...).

The decission for posting or not is done by the plugin. If an article is not showing in this list, the Content-Extension plugin has not sended them to the AutoTweet Component for posting.

Possible reasons:
- Plugin is not enabled.
- Plugin configuration/options (categories, section, ...). -> If you will, you can post a screenshot of the options.
- Joomla < 1.5.4

If all this is set correct, a post/listentry should be done, when you post an article from backend or frontend. When posting you should also see a message like "AutoTweet ... - artcile posted..." or an error message.
